    APC Lawmaker Commissions Classroom Blocks in Gaya

    The Member also visited the Shagogo Ward of Gaya and paid homage visits to the duo ward heads of the towns, Alh. Abbas Maje Galadima and Alhaji Sule Adamu, Sarkin Fulanin Jobe.

    The Member representing Ajingi, Albasu and Gaya Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Mahmoud Gaya on Sunday Commissioned classroom blocks in the Gamarya ward of Gaya Local Government Area of Kano State.

    The project was unveiled during a campaign visit to the constituents of the Gaya Local Government.

    While commissioning the project, Abdullahi Mahmoud said the additional classrooms were built to encourage student enrolment and promote literacy among the inhabitant of the ward. He later prayed for the school to produce exceptional leaders in the future.

    After the commissioning ceremony at Gamarya, thousands of supporters converged at the town’s Primary Schools to show their concern about the 2023 coming election whereby the Member welcomed new supporters who dumped New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for All Progressive Congress (APC) under the leadership of Mal. Ahmadu Gamarya.

    The leader of the decampees assured the Member their full pledge of support in the forthcoming election and assured him that, the opposition in the town is no more in existence.

    In his words, Alh. Shu’aibu Haruna Gamarya, the Speaker of Gaya Local Government Area who is a Councillor of Gamarya ward said Abdullahi Mahmoud was the initiator of the town’s Secondary School and now the member supported the school with newly built and equipped classrooms. He later thanked the Member for his continues support not only in education but in the remaining sectors like electricity for the development of his ward.

    Earlier before Gamarya, Abdullahi Mahmoud Gaya paid a campaign visit to the Wudilawa ward where he met with the Traditional Leadership, Imams and people of the ward and pray for hitch-free elections with success coming next month of February 2023.

    The Member also visited the Shagogo Ward of Gaya and paid homage visits to the duo ward heads of the towns, Alh. Abbas Maje Galadima and Alhaji Sule Adamu, Sarkin Fulanin Jobe.

    Maje called the attention of electorates to embrace peace and vote wisely coming February 25th Election.

    In Shagogo Abdullahi Mahmoud Gaya received hundreds of decampees in the early night hours of Sunday. Those who defected from NNPP to APC in the town revealed that Abdullahi Gaya has done everything to them in terms of development in relation to his representation, hence they dumped their former party to build more in the continuity of the member.

    In his entourage were the representative of Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, Senator Kano Central ably represented by Faisal Kabiru Gaya, the Gaya Local Government Chairman, Member State House of Assembly representing Gaya, Hon. Abubakar Isah Kademi, APC Chairman of Gaya Local Government among others.
